TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama will start spring football practice on March 12 and will finish it with its annual A-Day game at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17 in Bryant-Denny Stadium, the school announced today.
Admission again will be free for A-Day.
The March 12 practice will come before Alabama's March 15-20 spring break.
The 2009 nation champions will resume drills on March 22. Of the 15 practices, all except the A-Day scrimmage will be closed to the public.
Last year, A-Day drew a crowd of 84,050. The "game" was televised nationally by ESPN.
